Painted in Boston and sewn in Maine, this indoor/outdoor pillow is constructed with premium quality Sunbrella® fabric that is fade, stain, and weather resistant. Warm white front with a nautical navy back. Add a touch of nautical style to your deck, patio, or boat with our luxuriously comfortable pillows. 

Materials

Each pillow is constructed with superior quality materials intended for both indoor and outdoor use.

  • Pillow Cover: Sunbrella® is a branded fabric recognized and trusted for high indoor and outdoor performance, made of synthetic fibers in the USA.
  • Pillow insert: Non-allergic, water resistant, specially engineered premium microfiber. Plush, lofty, and soft. A perfect balance of support and comfort. Made in the USA.
  • Zipper: YKK® closure, removable cover.
  • Construction: Heat sealed edges, hand painted with waterproof permanent textile paint.

Care Instructions

The fabric dye process is inherently resistant to water, dirt, spills, and stains. If cleaning is necessary, please follow below:

Spot Clean: Simply blot liquid spills with a clean, dry cloth or clean dried-on stains with soap and water in combination with a sponge or soft bristle brush.

Hand Washing: Soak fabric in a solution of ¼ cup mild soap per gallon of lukewarm water. Use a sponge or soft bristle brush to lightly agitate the spill. Rinse thoroughly allow fabric to air dry.

Machine Washing: Turn inside out, close zipper. Machine wash cold on delicate cycle with normal amount of laundry detergent. For severe mold or mildew, add ¼ cup bleach. Allow fabric to air dry.

One-of-a-kind Pillows Hand Painted by Sitka

Harpswell Island Designs and Sitka Home have an ongoing collaboration to create nautically inspired throw pillows. Each pillow is hand painted by Sitka in his Newbury Street studio making every design completely unique. His work captures pure beauty, color and light and the Sitka Home Gallery space is a must-visit when in Boston.

"I have developed a personal philosophy which emphasizes a bright view of life, literally seeking to fill my world with all that is pure, clean and filled with light. I have rediscovered Monet, Sargent, Van Gough and Hassan, and found myself looking more intently at light and how color's component parts are broken down by light. I use my skill as a precise draftsman to paint directly on the canvas with no preparatory drawings. Building and layering color and texture, I place each brushstroke and fleck of color next to each other to create vibrant tones." -Sitka
